Helping our local community sport thrive
As a new arm of Steroplast Healthcare, Sterosport has inherited its values, culture and ethics. And, as Steroplast Healthcare is, and has always been, very community conscious, we are too. At Sterosport, we’re very keen to contribute to our local community in whatever way we can – whether through supporting local charities, sponsoring individuals or events or offering our training and assistance to organisations. Here are just a few examples.
Firesport offers a wide range of sporting activities, from walking and bowls to cycling and cricket. We work closely with the organisation, providing first aid and physiotherapy equipment.
We’re delighted to be an official partner to GMCL. The league boasts some 86 clubs with 220 teams between them.
Working in partnership with GreaterSport, we assist local clubs and participants to be powerful, strong and resilient. Our aim is to turn setbacks into comebacks.
This is a series of free events, hosted by Sterosport. Each event is designed to bring together professionals from the medical, academic, sport and health environment. Helping to improve performance and rehabilitation from sporting injuries.
As well as being a successful professional boxer, Jake is the driving force behind TBT. The Best Team was set up to help people in need – especially children battling serious illnesses. We’re proud to contribute to TBT’s work.
Jimmy Kilrain Kelly
Jimmy’s boxing career includes winning the WBC Youth World Championship (twice) and the WBO Intercontinental Championship (twice). He is now the WBO World Title Challenger – and we’re behind him every step of the way!
We’re honoured to have been the official sponsor of this leading ice hockey club since the 2017-18 season.
Manchester’s only American Football team, the Titans have 9 individual teams which cater for all ages. As their official sponsor we’re doing everything we can to support their growth and success.
For anyone hoping to make it big in the cricketing world, the fantastic courses on offer at Myerscough College are the perfect start. And we’ve recently joined forces with the college to help keep students safe and injury-free throughout the season.
If you think we can contribute to your sporting growth, simply contact us and we’ll be delighted to discuss how we can help. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an individual, a club or other organisation. As long as, by working together, we promote awareness of the health and social benefits of sports participation within the local community. Alternatively, you might want to consider joining the Injury Rehab Network NW.
